Hi,
I own a 2-3-year-old german shepherd that we got from a place called leading eyes for the blind in New York, that specializes in giving dogs to blind people who need dogs. Our dog, Faye was a "reject" from there because she got distracted easily. She is unlike our old dog because she doesn't walk willfully usually. She will go on a streak for like 1 week of straight walking but for some reason stop for like a month and do anything to not walk. We've tried using food, not using the leash for some of the walks, and some weird whistle some lady suggested to us that did not work. We are all out of ideas and need some help for her to walk. Anybody?
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

I’ve read some good stuff here. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting. I surprise how much effort you put to create such a great informative website.

Tried all of the above ( buffer down to 4) and still a massive delay making it near impossible to play anything above 160 bpm which is a damm shame as the samples are fantastic on the 260, "tower ballroom" quint and tierce are to die for. Running windows 7 ,250 gig hd,3 gig memory and only running miditzer on it. Midisport 2x2 interface for the yamaha hx3 (accomp, great, pedal)and casio keyboard(solo) seems to be a greater delay on the solo
Nothing to do with me at all. I do know from separate recent experience that if you park a 4x4 above where the hole is it will start to sink after about two hours.
So, what do you think of any of them (past experiences, reviews, ....) and what other tech events you anticipate to go to?
It's difficult to choose the right place for us but we are trying to choose the best and sometimes we are not right. This time I can choose the right place for me where I can find the assignment service australia from my friend and its very helpful in my studies.

Our miniature schnauzer, Mixie, was the same way. She would plant herself and not move. I did buy a harness as well, but no longer use it. We just use her regular leash. We do have to walk the exact same route every time we go for a walk. She has so much confidence doing this. When we tried to go a different way, I would see her panic somewhat and so we don’t bother anymore. The walk is for her. When we go for long walks, she doesn’t come, and she if fine with that.
Does she wear a collar when not on the lead? If not start having her wear a collar at all times. If she is used to a collar tie a ribbon to it with about 9" hanging. Do this just before a feed and put her food down away from her.

She is happy to get her little walk in. Now, she even walks way ahead of me. I am not sure of your regular route, but Mixie can feel the difference between grass and sidewalk under her feet and this helps her to know where she is. Try a regular route that you had that was short with both grass and sidewalk. She has also oriented herself sniffing around(we let her stop and sniff EVERYTHING! – ugh, this can take forever!). I think it is like little markers for her. It was very frustrating in the beginning trying to get her to walk though. Once we figured out to let her decide where we go instead of trying to get her to do our walk, things worked out much better. I do know that I can walk her on a longer route than my daughters or husband can. I think they can also sense your anxiety as well. Try to relax and know that at first your walks will take FOREVER. Hopefully you have a shorter route that you used to do that he recognizes and don’t give up. P.S. I also talk to her a lot on our walks. I probably look really weird, but it also works, she feels pretty proud when I praise her for being such a “big girl”!
